"The Everything Guy"

I'm just a regular guy — a hard-charger that wants to do right by himself, his family, his country, and the world. I am guided by a 'warrior' ethos that is tied to my Army background, encompased in the Army Values of 'LDRSHIP': Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Self-Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. I've done a lot of things in my life that I think would exemplify that— a whole lifetime worth and counting. Some of it I can talk about. Some I can't. But all of it led me to here.

Today, I'm an executive consultant serving as a Program Manager for Zen Strategics to a Federal entity. I am a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve, commanding a unit within the Military Intelligence Readiness Command. I am also a serial entrepreneur, with businesses that runs across numerous verticals and spans across the globe. Oh, I'm much more than that, too (fun fact: I'm a volunteer firefighter and a licensed UAS pilot). With more than two decades of experience leading entities big and small, in every field you can imagine, I've been told that I should 'write a book.' Instead of that, I decided to make a page about myself, and maybe help bring some of my knowledge and musings out to the world, in hopes to educate and/or entertain.

I believe in leading through experience, and leadership by example. Moreover, I believe in servant leadership-- building and investing in my teams. But even beyond that, I believe in doing that for all. If one has the ability, then they have a moral imperative to make those around them - and the world by extension - better. That is why I make myself available for advising and consultation to anyone, whether they are a large Big Four Firm seeking a keynote speaker or a young college student asking for guidance on what to do in life. If I can inspire just one person the importance of servitude of something greater than themselves, then I consider that a win.

So, I welcome you to Sean Today. It is where I put the commentary — the news, opportunities, and special topics I'd otherwise be arguing about over coffee. It is a work in progress, and I invite you to provide any feedback that you like. Or just drop a hello-- I personally read all emails.
